Kaiser’s Cakery was founded by Martina Kaiser. When Martina arrived in Canada in 2016 she had a dream of opening a traditional bakery. She got the opportunity to take over the Black Diamond Bakery on November 1 of 2019.
The Foothills Area has always been a special place for Martina. Over the last 25 years she has continued to visit family in this area while living in Germany.
During her time in Germany she gained extensive experience in traditional German baking by working as a chef. Martina loves producing new recipes using the best quality of ingredients and she strongly believes on baking what she can “From scratch”. Every ingredient remains important and in order for a treat to be healthy and delicious, everything needs to be properly mixed, measured and inspected.
Kaiser’s Cakery is modeled after a traditional European café. By visiting our location you can enjoy a wide range of homemade breakfast and lunch specialties, freshly ground coffee and specialty desserts from the bakery. At any time in the Cakery, you can find a wide selection of traditional European pastries, buns and cakes.
By focusing in on using only the freshest and all-natural ingredients, the baked goods produced in house are done in the traditional handmade method. All the ingredients for every product are available at request. Should you have any allergies or dietary restrictions we also offer a series of products that are designed with specialty diets in mind.
Any of our leftover baked goods are paid forward. We never serve day-old product, instead we deliver our leftover baked goods to local partnering charities.
